Parking Professional Primer

The Parking Professional Primer (PPP) program is a training program aimed at assisting organizations with orienting new front-line employees to the dynamic world of parking. PPP is also an excellent 'refresher course' for long-term, front-line staff in need of revitalization.

Fee Structure

The PPP training package is available only to team leaders who hold a current CPA membership. Join CPA now.

• Members: Per Student: $150.00
• Non-Members: Per Student: $200.00
• A 10% discount will be applied for 10 or more applications.
• Fees include study manual, review exercises and test.

Testing Options / Recognition

• On line or paper tests are available.
• Candidates who pass the test will receive a certificate suitable for framing and will be featured in the CPA publications, unless the candidate requests exclusion.

Canadian Certified Parking Facility Manager

The CPA has developed a Canadian-based training program that addresses the training needs of front-line supervisors and management teams. Based on the National Parking Association’s Certified Parking Facility Manager program, but with relevant Canadian content, the program is a self-directed course that can be studied over a period of up to six months at the student’s convenience.

The Canadian Parking Foundation

In 1996 the Canadian Parking Association established a charitable foundation to advance education and research in the public parking industry. The Canadian Parking Foundation organizes the World Parking Symposium (WPS), which is presented at a different location around the world every two years.

It also provides awards or funding to those in the parking industry in Canada who merit recognition through their excellence in the business.
